Rakhat is a hybrid geared towards your variable acres and tougher conditions.  We really like this one for livestock producers, especially since preliminary data is showing above average protein levels in the grain.  Silage quantity is respectable for the maturity, so if a silage-specific hybrid isn't your thing, Rakhat is a good option in northern zones.  Rakhat is pretty low maintenance but will respond to applications of diverse biology, either foliar or on the seed.

Pairs best with Winifred (RM 79) and Rosario (RM 81).  Can use with Vivian (RM 83) if Rakhat stays on the tougher acres.
