Olive will win your heart and a place on your farm by being a hybrid you can count on. Not a real showy hybrid, Olive has a bushy open canopy. Suitable across soil types and works well east to west. Best on rotated acres. Watch for disease pressure when present in area, especially east; fungicide application may be beneficial. Susceptible to Tar Spot – manage when present. Good staygreen in the fall. Olive brings consistent high yields and high testweights with orange-yellow kernels on large ears.

Good pairings are Alice (RM 112), Olenna (RM 112), and Maude (RM 114).
