Carol is a steady hybrid that is a great choice to add some genetic diversity to your farm. Performs best in zone; don't take much farther south than US-212. Ear placement is a bit lower, which is great for late season standability. However, keep off the droughtiest fields that will shrink the plant, and make sure to harvest before any big snow events. Plant health is good. Large tassel to aid in pollination under stress. Forms a dense canopy even with more upright leaves. Early data shows a slight increase in protein above the trial average. (If you are still missing Tess, Carol looks to be just as steady with a little more yield punch.)

Pairs very well with Wilma (RM 88) and Kristi (RM 91).
